specializes in diversity training, responsible decision making, coaching, education strategies, program evaluation, pastoral counseling, mentoring and mediation/arbitration. Established in 1983, its clients include private industry, government, institutions of education, and non-profit agencies. The Fairness Institute also writes technical, diplomatic, resolution oriented letters to agencies, groups or individuals to effectuate change or right a wrong in lieu of legal action, thereby avoiding costly and time consuming litigation.
Horacio D. Lewis, PhD, ThD, CEO/Founder
The Rev. Dr. Lewis is a Panamanian born results oriented professional who is fluent in Spanish and English. He is currently an Evaluator for Delaware Humanities, Ordained Independent Bilingual Interfaith Spiritual Minister and a Senior Consultant/Trainer with the Fairness Institute. He is a US citizen interested in researching, consulting and teaching issues of diversity/Inclusion, culture/ethnicity, education, equity, fairness, civil rights, desegregation, religion/spirituality and languages.
EDUCATION/Professional Qualification:
The Rev. Dr. Lewis holds a Harvard Multicultural Education Certificate in addition to five graduate and undergraduate degrees/Bachillerato en Ciencias (Biology, Biology, Humanities, Urban Education/Inner City Studies, Theology) and several Professional Certificates including a State of Delaware "highly qualified" Spanish Teacher Certificate, Delaware Mini Medical School Certificate and a Spiritual Minister Certificate of Ordination.
